​Reiki

Reiki is a relaxing therapy that encourages the body to let go of blocks and restore itself to equilibrium.  With the body held in a space of compassion and deep reverence, it is able to communicate so much, so that much can be revealed and released.  Reiki is a process of calming the nervous system, moving out of the day to day noise, deep grounding and re- centering so that you can return to being your best self again.  Putting the sparkle back into your life. 

The process can be with or without gentle touch, whatever is most comfortable to the individual.  It can take place on a therapy bed or even chair. 

I am a Reiki Master in the Usui Tradition and a fully insured member of the AHCP and the Reiki Association.  I practice near Bamburgh on the Northumberland Coast or just outside Newcastle.

Level Two: Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November 2025 

This includes:

  • Grounding and its importance in practice (this may include some yoga (as I have also been a yoga teacher for about 17 years) and art)
  • The 4 Attunements (which are imperative when looking for Reiki training)
  • Spiritual/ energetic hygiene, so how to take care of yourself
  • Energy sensing exercises
  • The principles and story of Reiki
  • Applying Reiki to your life, how will it be used by you
  • Hand postures and connecting with the body
  • A beautiful lunch on both days
  • And, of course, setting intention with Reiki for 2025 (so in this sense it is more than just Reiki- I am very interested in empowering and amplifying)​
